Lead Pastor
Pastor Evan Distad began working in ministry in 2003 and has been at Taylor Christian since June 2017. As a leader, Evan is known for his very personal approach to ministry and Biblical preaching. He has a bachelor’s degree in Theology and is ordained through the Assemblies of God.
In his spare time, Evan enjoys running, playing racquetball, fishing and spending time with his family. He is married to his wonderful wife Erin and has two children; Bennett and Genevieve.
Youth Pastor
Pastor Nate and Liz have been youth pastors since 2016 and joined Taylor Christian in September 2018. Nate and Liz met at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where they received their degrees in 2016. Nate graduated with a Degree in Church Leadership with an emphasis on Youth Ministry, and Liz graduated with a Degree in Psychology with emphasis on Addiction Counseling and later received her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. In their spare time, Nate and Liz like to listen and play music, watch sports, and explore the outdoors.
At TC Youth, they strive to create an environment where students can come as they are, experience the love of God, and grow in their relationship with Him.
Children's Pastor
Michael & Stephanie Sudek joined our staff as children's pastors in March of 2019. Michael has served as a youth pastor at two churches, including Taylor Christian, and graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Degree in Bible & Theology. Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and has a passion to help those with special needs. Stephanie leads the younger children (0-4 years old) while Michael leads the older children (5-11 years). They strive to let every child understand that God has a plan for each individual that can start now, while providing a fun and inviting atmosphere for children to learn in!
Michael & Stephanie enjoy playing board games, watching movies, and finding ways to stay active. They have been married since March 2018 and have two daughters name Abigail and Zoe.
Worship Leader
Cassandra has been the worship leader at Taylor Christian since 2017. She was professionally trained in vocals and led worship for her youth group in high school. She enjoys using the gift God has given her to lead people into His presence and give glory to Him.
Cassandra has been a secondary math teacher since 2019. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and playing with her dog Nala.
